When you bring your items in for consignment, we will select what our customers like to buy. Please understand that our shoppers’ preferences must be our selection guidelines. We base our prices on a percentage of retail prices as well as supply and demand. It is our goal to get the best price for you.

Agape Chic considers the relationship with our consignors to be a partnership. As a partner, it is important to be clear of all policies.

Please read each policy thoroughly to assure clarity of our consignment process

  • Consignments are accepted Tuesday - Saturday, 10am – 3pm.
  • Several times a year, at the discretion of Agape Chic, we will take breaks from intake. These breaks are usually for one week. This is most common during the summer months or holidays (Christmas & Thanksgiving)
  • 20 piece weekly limit It is our experience that it is difficult to transport more than 20 wrinkle free items successfully. Therefore, we have a 20 max clothing limit per week. This does not include handbags, shoes, or accessories.
  • Items need to be on hangers. One item per hanger, freshly laundered, wrinkle free and/or dry-cleaned. We will make exceptions when possible and go through items that are neatly folded. We cannot accept clothing in bags.
  • Please INSPECT clothing for stains, rips, loose/missing buttons, damaged zippers, seams, and hems. ALL items need to be in excellent, “Ready to sell” Condition – free of stains, defects, odor, wrinkles, or obvious wear.
  • We accept items that are IN SEASON clothing that are 3 years new and “like new” or lightly worn. (Spring and Summer merchandise is accepted February through mid-August. Fall and Winter merchandise is accepted September through mid-January.)
  • All jewelry is bought outright for up to 30% of the projected resale price.
  • We DO NOT accept discount brands, examples are Walmart, Target, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe or Old Navy.
  • ALL clothing needs to have brand, size and cleaning instruction tags attached and legible. We will not be able to accept items without this in place.
  • Consignment Splits are based on the following selling prices:

    $0-$100 40% to consignor, 60% to Agape

    $101-$300 50% to consignor, 50% to Agape

    $301-$500 60% to consignor, 40% to Agape

    $501-Up 70% to consignor 30% to Agape

  • Consignment Period is 60 days (about 2 months) with a 5-day grace period. All items become store owned if not picked up during the grace period. They will be sold or donated at the appropriate time
  • An annual membership fee of $12, which includes online access, will be charged on the first consignment intake of each year. This breaks down to $1 per month and directly impacts our opportunity and success in selling our consignor's items in a brick-and-mortar store and online.
