Our Story
Agape Chic: Where Style is Reborn
Our Beginning:
Agape Chic is an upscale women's consignment boutique located in Brandon, Florida established in 2010 by two friends, Dena & Stacy, through the guidance of Jesus Christ. His vision is for a place where women can come together in order to create a community of power, love and self control (2Timothy1:7). In 2018, Dena continued as sole proprietor of Agape Chic and is continuing the good work that God has begun in this little boutique. Because we are locally owned and operated, we promise to make your consignment process an enjoyable boutique experience.
Agape Chic makes available to our friends, family and neighbors the ability to find beautiful fashions that are reborn. We are aware of the need to reduce, reuse, and recycle in order to preserve the earth's awesome beauty and resources. We desire to empower women through advocacy and community involvement. A first glance, Agape Chic is a retail women's consignment boutique, but the true heart of this body is to show God's love through our hands and feet through self-giving service within our local area. We have been blessed with an opportunity to blend our commitment to God, our desire to empower women, and our love of fashion in order to encourage all who enter our doors.
Meet Dena, The Owner of Agape Chic:

Starting Agape Chic was God-inspired. As the youngest of 8 kids, I learned my hard work ethic from watching my mom and learning from her. God directed my path as I grew older and I learned to lean in, trust and listen. I found that He is my Hope and Strength and through Him, I am able to bless others without judgment.
At Agape Chic, we run the store with the customer in mind through our business practices and beliefs, as they are the heart of our business. As a way to ensure we stay up to date with what is happening with our resale community, Agape Chic is a proud member of NARTS (The National Association of Resale Professionals). We joined when we first opened and it has guided us, taught us and empowered us through its knowledge and friendships.
I have a heart for community and am on the board of a local non-profit, The Angel Foundation, a wonderful organization that helps people who are going through catastrophic life events. I also promote other organizations and other local small businesses in our community.
On a personal note, I recently celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary and I am a mom of 4, with my youngest heading to college this year.
